The Framework — Q1 2026
Okana Resort & Indoor Waterpark
Oklahoma City, OK
We provided structural steel connection and stair design services for the Okana Resort & Indoor Waterpark in Oklahoma City, an iconic hospitality and entertainment destination.
Project Scope and Coordination
Our work included connection and stair design across multiple components of the development, including the hotel, conference center, indoor waterpark, outdoor lagoon, and retail gallery.
The variety of spaces and structural conditions required well-coordinated solutions to address complex framing, long-span elements, and high-occupancy environments. Throughout the process, constructability and schedule considerations remained a key focus.
Fabrication-Ready Connections and Stair Design
Basden Steel served as the structural steel fabricator for major portions of the project, including erection of the steel framing for the 11-story hotel and the large Family Entertainment Center. In close coordination with the fabricator and contractor team, we delivered fabrication-ready connection details that helped streamline the path from detailing through installation.
For the stair systems, we collaborated with Basden Architectural Metals (BAM) to develop coordinated, fabrication-ready stair designs that aligned architectural intent with structural performance and installation requirements, supporting consistent execution across the site’s multiple venues.
Together, these efforts contributed to a clear, buildable structural package for one of Oklahoma City’s most significant new destination developments.
