Supporting Emergency Preparedness and Coordination
Designed to function as a centralized hub for preparedness and coordination, the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Emergency Operations Center supports rapid decision-making during critical events and day-to-day operations alike.
The project brings together essential operational spaces and site infrastructure to strengthen preparedness and enable rapid deployment. The facility will include a central EOC with supporting coordination and conference rooms (Logistics, Planning, Fire, Law Enforcement, and JIC/PIO), a Dispatch Center, and a full suite of administrative and support functions, including offices, training, IT/backup, and storage. Site components include a warehouse, gas/diesel fueling station, controlled access, and provisions for future expansion.
Structural Design for Resilience and Flexibility
The facility is steel framed, allowing for open, flexible interior spaces with minimal columns. The structural design emphasizes strength and stability to support continuous operations, while also accommodating key exterior features such as entry canopies and coordinating effortlessly with site elements including service areas, equipment pads, and future expansion.
