We provided structural design services for the Las Cruces Natatorium, a 36,536-square-foot state-of-the-art aquatic facility. At the heart of theproject is an Olympic-sized pool, measuring 50x25 meters, designed to meet thehighest competitive standards. The pool can be configured with 10 competitionlanes or 20 short-course lanes, all certified by USA Swimming. An advancedfiltration system was engineered to cycle 750,000 gallons of water seven timesdaily, ensuring pristine water quality with minimal chemical usage.

The building’s design features vertical decorative aluminum fins, inspiredby the movement of water. These fins provide shade, enhance weather resilience,and complement the sleek, modern architecture.

Inclusivity and safety were key priorities, with accessible locker rooms,handicap pool lifts, and non-slip flooring integrated into the design to ensurethe facility is welcoming to all.
