We provided structural engineering services for the historic Branigan Cultural Center, a building listed on the National and State Registries of Historic Buildings. The project included a two-part scope: first, the evaluation of an existing concrete mezzanine supported by proprietary columns, and second, the design of a new support structure to replace the columns while preserving the mezzanine’s structural integrity.

The new mezzanine support structure was designed to blend seamlessly with the building’s historic aesthetics, maintaining the cohesive look and feel of the space. Our team worked within a tight timeline to ensure the Cultural Center could remain operational, delivering economical and efficient designs that minimized downtime.
