Stubbs Engineering provided structural design services for the remodel of a dated English building built in the 1930s. The design added an elevator, reinforcement of the structure for HVAC upgrades, bathroom renovations, demolition of the existing classroom demising walls, repairs and modifications to the main entrance stars and gym stairs, seismic upgrade required by the 2009 IEBC, reinforce the sagging floor, repair of cast stone elements, and repair of honeycomb concrete in the basement.
