The 600 sq. ft. canopy is part of the Renewable Energy Program at NMSU-Alamogordo. Students in the Renewable Energy Program use the canopy to install a real photovoltaic system and tie it into the Grid. Stubbs Engineering provided the designs for the foundation, exterior and load-bearing walls, roof framing as well as a Safety Cable System for students.
