Las Cruces Sun News- Las Cruces, NM

This project houses the reporting, editing, circulation and advertising departments  for the Sun-News Newspaper Office. This is a 7518 sq.ft., 2 story, wood-framed building.  The second floor of the Sun-News Building features a cantilevered balcony that overlooks the lobby.  Also featured is a rooftop patio and garden.  The design tied the original steel framed sign into the new wood framed building.

La Cantera Pavillion- El Paso, TX

This project consisted of the design of a 28,000 sq. ft. concrete tilt up retail space. It was designed as a speculative space, therefore, maximizing versatility had to be taken into account.

Zaragoza Grove Shopping Center- El Paso, TX

This project consisted of the design of three separate shopping centers totaling 39,200 sq. ft.  Storefront opening has a metal canopy.  Stubbs Engineering also designed the foundation and framing for the vestibule on the east side of the structure.

Mewbourne Oil- Hobbs, NM

‚ÄčThis project consisted of a 31,475 sq. ft. single story wood framed office building with a steel framed entry structure. Additionally we designed a 100ft x 50ft light gage steel framed storage building with an eave height of 18ft and a clear height of 16ft.  It was framed with load bearing steel stud walls and double pitch bar joists.

The Lofts at Alameda- Las Cruces, NM

Stubbs Engineering provided the structural engineering for the construction of The Lofts at Alameda which is a 38-unit, modern apartment complex.  The project was a three-story wood framed building on a concrete foundation.  Our scope of services included but were not limited to structural engineering and construction documents for the following; the foundation, floor framing, roof framing, exterior and interior load bearing walls, and lateral system.
