As the president and principal engineer for Stubbs Engineering, Inc., Michael Stubbs oversees the design and construction of all projects for Stubbs Engineering. His experience with complicated structures and project management on the design and construction sides of projects gives him a unique approach to problem solving. Michael approaches each project looking for ways to maintain the client's functional and aesthetic needs while maintaining the most economical solutions while considering buildability.
Mr. Stubbs graduate from New Mexico State University and immediately went to work for a New Mexico owned Structural and Civil Engineering firm. After three years with that firm he decided to broaden his horizons and moved to Dallas. There he worked for a structural engineering firm. While in Dallas, he designed a wide variety of structures including a $52M church, a six story hospital, and modifications to the Cotton Bowl. He was also President of a joint venture between the Engineering Firm and a Steel Fabricator in which he provided both design and construction services. After nine years in Dallas, Mr. Stubbs returned home and started Stubbs Engineering.
Since opening Stubbs Engineering, Michael has provided structural engineering services to a diversified client base. Michael provides structural engineering services to multiple industries, including architectural designs, construction engineering, electrical transmission towers, and industrial applications. Stubbs Engineering is a regional engineering firm providing services throughout the Southwest.
