New Mexico Institute of mining and Technology- Torres Hall- Socorro, New Mexico

Stubbs Engineering, Inc. provided full structural engineering design services for the $6,700,000 new residence hall at New Mexico Institute of Technology, in Socorro, New Mexico.  The 38,000 sq.ft. residence hall is a 3-story wood framed structure which houses 155 students.  The residence hall also includes a two bedroom apartment, a catering kitchen, three student kitchens, laundry facilities, an elevator, a multi-purpose room, and several student lounges.

New Mexico State University Juniper Hall- Las Cruces, NM

Stubbs Engineering provided the designs for a brand-new three-story dormitory on campus. The old dormitory that was located there prior was demolished to make room for this new wood framed building. The new form houses approximately 300 students. The building includes shared rooms with a common bathroom and laundry facilities.

Dona Ana Community College- Addition and Renovation- Sunland Park, NM

This project added a 14,000 sq.ft. addition and renovated an additional 3,400 sq.ft. at the Sunland Park Campus of Dona Ana Community College.  The project included three separate additions in one project.  This project added a 121 seat lecture hall, 3 computer labs, 4 general use classrooms, a 6,100 sq.ft. Welding Lab, a covered Welding Yard, and new office area.

New Mexico State Univrsity- Jett Hall Renovation- Las Cruces, NM

This project consisted of  renovations to the existing building and added a new space to house HVAC equipment. Our services included designing a new ramp and entrance structure, and modifications to the structure to accommodate new HVAC units.  We also addressed cracks in the exterior walls and addressed slab settlement issues.

New Mexico State University-Rentfrow Gym Addition and Remodel- Las Cruces, NM

This project consisted of additions and renovations to the existing facility. There where three additions in separate bid lots. A movable Partition was added to the old gymnasium. We also relocated existing mechanical units to the roof on the additions.
