Rockwall Commons Office Building

Rockwall, TX

This is a four story, 32,000 sq.ft. office building.  The project consisted of composite steel beam floors, a concrete elevator shaft and two stair towers.  The main architectural feature has an octagon shaped protrusion at the entrance.

Drury Inn & Suites

Las Cruces, NM

This is a full service, four story hotel complete with meeting rooms and an indoor swimming pool.  The Porte Cochere was framed with steel beams and concrete columns to accommodate the unique configuration of the roof pitches.  The hotel was wood framed.

The Lofts at Alameda

Las Cruces, NM

Stubbs Engineering provided the structural engineering for the construction of The Lofts at Alameda which is a 38-unit, modern apartment complex.  The project was a three-story wood framed building on a concrete foundation.  Our scope of services included but were not limited to structural engineering and construction documents for the following; the foundation, floor framing, roof framing, exterior and interior load bearing walls, and lateral system.

Mewbourne Oil

Hobbs, NM

Stubbs Engineering provided the structural engineering services for the construction of the Mewbourne Oil Company New District Office Building located in Hobbs, NM.  The project is a 31,475 square-foot single-story, wood-framed office building with a steel framed entry structure.

​​​Las Cruces Sun News

Las Cruces, NM

This project houses the reporting, editing, circulation and advertising departments  for the Sun-News Newspaper Office. This is a 7518 sq.ft., 2 story, wood-framed building.  The second floor of the Sun-News Building features a cantilevered balcony that overlooks the lobby.  Also featured is a rooftop patio and garden.  The design tied the original steel framed sign into the new wood framed building.
